“This is my watering hole!” Rocco roared, feeling a surge of anger. “Go away, little duck!” He shooed Daffy away, his voice echoing through the park. Daffy, feeling sad, flapped her wings and flew off.
Days passed, and Rocco enjoyed the peace of his watering hole alone. But one day, after a heavy rain, the ground around the hole became very muddy. Rocco wandered into the mud and suddenly found himself stuck. He tried to move, but the thick, sticky mud held him in place. Rocco struggled and called for help, but no one heard him.
Hours went by, and Rocco grew tired and worried. Just then, Daffy flew by and saw Rocco in trouble. Despite remembering how Rocco had shooed her away, Daffy decided to help. She was a kind duck, after all.Daffy flew to the other animals in the park and quacked loudly for help. Elephants, zebras, giraffes, and more gathered and followed Daffy to the muddy spot. Together, they pulled and tugged, trying to free Rocco. Daffy flew close to Rocco and said, “We’re here to help you.”
Rocco was surprised and grateful. He hadn’t expected help, especially from the little duck he had been so mean to. With everyone’s effort, Rocco was finally freed from the mud. He thanked the animals and especially Daffy.
“I’m sorry for shooing you away, Daffy,” said Rocco, smiling at the little duck.
Daffy smiled back. “It’s okay, Rocco. Friends help each other.”
From that day on, Rocco and Daffy became best friends. Rocco invited Daffy to swim in his watering hole anytime. They shared many happy moments together, and the other animals admired their friendship. Rocco learned that sharing made life better, and Daffy knew that kindness always wins. And in the Wildlife Park, everyone lived happily together.
